The floor boards are made from shredded banknotes bonded together with polyurethane. - A floor construction, e.g. for a sports playing surface, comprises a resilient underlay (1), at least two boards (2) lying side by side on top of the underlay, at least one connector plate (7, 8) received by grooves (4) in the peripheral sides (3) of the boards, and a cover layer (10) on top of the boards.
