Stack of plates for a heat exchanger

The bundle comprises a stack of parallel stainless steel plates (10). Each plate has smooth surfaced edges and a central undulated part (11) which forms with the plates circuits for two contra-flowing independent fluids. The plates are joined together along their longitudinal sides by a welded wall (13). The fluid inlet and outlet zone are formed by the plane ends (10a) of the parallel plates between which are inserted independent plates (21) having reliefs which ensure fluid distribution in the heat exchange zone. Each plate with reliefs has a zone for guiding one off the fluids towards the corresponding circuit. They also have a zone with a low fluid flow separated from the guide zone by a transition zone allowing passage of fluid between the low flow and guide zones.
