PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen removing device for removing O2 from separated gas containing CO2 fed into a natural gas reforming device which thermally decomposes CH4 as a main component of natural gas into CO and H2 reformed gas and provide a gas engine for transforming natural gas into reformed gas for more thermal efficiency and restricting the generation of NOX to reduce the content of CO2 . SOLUTION: This oxygen removing device 23 has a casing 44 arranged in a passage 22, where separated gas containing CO2 passing through a CO2 separating film provided in an exhaust passage flows, a porous carbon member 48 supported in the casing 44 via a nonconductive gasket 47 for separated gas to pass therethough and a power supply 49 to electrify and heat the porous carbon member 48 for reacting CO2 in the separated gas with carbon of the porous carbon member 48 and transforming it CO and CO2 .
