PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition useful for electronic and electric parts, etc., from inexpensive materials without deteriorating heat-resistance, chemical resistance, etc., of a base resin by adding a phthalic acid ester to a polyarylene sulfide. SOLUTION: This composition is composed of (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polyarylene sulfide preferably having a melt-viscosity V, of 20-50,000 poise at <=300 deg.C, (B) 0-400 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler and (C) 0.01-20 pts.wt. of a phthalic acid ester. Preferably, the component B is e.g. glass fiber or carbon fiber and the component C is a mono or diester expressed by the formula (R and R' are each H, an alkyl, a cycloalkyl, etc.), concretely ditridecyl phthalate, etc. |
