<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of spark between a material to be heated caused by vibration at the time of its conveying, to restrain generation of a defective product, and also, to improve the service life of a conveying roll by pivoting an insulating sleeve to a bearing supporting the conveying roll so as to be freely rotatable and securing the electric insulation of the conveying roll. SOLUTION: The insulating sleeve 1 composed of an electrical insulating material is arranged to the bearing 16, and the conveying roll 12 is supported through this sleeve. At this time, as the material of the insulating sleeve 1, the insulating resin such as a polytetrafluoroethylene, etc., or a wood, etc., is used. By this constitution, the conveying roll 12 and the bearing 16 are electrically insulated and, even if the installed part of a bearing box 15 easily breaking the insulation caused by the deposit of oxide scale and dust and sticking of coating materials, etc., is grounded, generation of induction current to the ground is prevented. Then, it is desirable that the insulating sleeve 1 can be fastened with tapered sleeves 17, 18 in a bearing state to the shaft surface of the conveying roll 12 to prevent the idle rotation.</p> |
