<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the deterioration of the adsorbent in an adsorption vessel in its early stages by providing a means for detecting the abnormality of the gas separator itself when the increment in the concn. of the product gas detected by a concn. detecting means is less than the specified increment while a product gas discharge valve is closed. SOLUTION: The product gas in the adsorption vessels 1 and 2 is accumulated in a product tank 20 and then supplied to the device to be supplied in this gas separator. Whether the gaseous nitrogen concn. in the product tank 20 is lowered below a specified lower limit or not is judged by an abnormal concn. detecting means 102 in a control circuit 100, and an alarm is issued from an abnormal concn. alarm 105 when 'YES'. The increment in the gaseous nitrogen concn. in the product tank 20 is calculated from the change of the increment in the concn. of gaseous nitrogen supplied from a gaseous nitrogen concn. detecting circuit 104 by a deterioration judging means 103. When the increment is decreased below the specified increment, the adsorbent in the tanks 1 and 2 is judged to be deteriorated, and an alarm is issued from a deterioration alarm 106.</p> |
