<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely fit a face body into a recess in a head main body. SOLUTION: In a golf club head in which a face body 1 is fitted and secured into a face-fitting recess in a head main body 30, a gradient part 36 that gets broader from a front surface 1a to a back is provided along a part or the whole of the outer edge 43 of the face 1, and a reverse gradient part 41 that gets broader toward the depth is provided along a part or the whole of the inner peripheral surface 40 of the recess. Further, a slip off preventive material 42 is filled into a gap part M provided between the sole or top side outer edge 43 of the face 1 and the inner peripheral surface 40 of the recess.</p> |
