<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Zn concentrating method which can concentrate Zn in iron-making dust to a level capable of selling in a market and the Zn concen trating method of the iron-making dust which can obtain a zinc concentrated dust by effectively treating the Zn-containing iron-making dust produced in an integral iron-making work. SOLUTION: The Zn concn. is executed by a first process, in which the Zn-containing iron-making dust is used as a solid oxygen source at the time of desiliconizing and dephosphorizing molten iron, and the Zn content in the produced dust is concentrated to be recovered, and a second process, in which the recovered dust is further used as the solid oxygen source at the time of desiliconizing the molten iron and the Zn content in the produced dust is concd. or by a first process, in which the Zn-containing iron-making dust is added to molten steel in a converter and the Zn content in the dust is concd. to be recovered, and a second process, in which this dust is added as the solid oxygen source at the time of desiliconizing the molten iron and the Zn content in the produced dust is concd. to be recovered.</p> |
