<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent breakage of a metallic diaphragm when an excessive line pressure is inputted, in the accumulator using a metallic diaphragm. SOLUTION: A cushion chamber 1B is sealed with air 3 for cushioning and a proper amount of liquid 4, and a guide pressure chamber 1A is connected in parallel to a pressure line through a connecting passage 5. When a line pressure P6 is increased to a value exceeding a given value, the central part of a metallic diaphragm 2 a displacement amount of which is increased along with the increase of the line pressure is brought into contact with the liquid level of sealed liquid 4 in the cushion chamber 1B. Until the metallic diaphragm 2 makes contact with the liquid level, the liquid level of the sealed liquid 4 is constant regardless of the line pressure P6 , but since, after contact with the liquid level, the liquid level rises along with downward displacement of the metallic diaphragm 2, compressibility of sealing gas 3 to a displacement amount of the metallic diaphragm 2 is rapidly increased, and excessive displacement of the metallic diaphragm 2 is regulated.</p> |
