<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collecting method and a collector for effectively collecting acidic or basic compounds contained in a gas such as the atmosphere. SOLUTION: This collector has a first collecting member 3 in which a basic or an acidic solid collecting agent for forming salts with the acidic or basic objectives in the atmosphere is supported on a supporting body, a first elution means for supplying first elution liquid for dissolving the salts formed in the first collecting member 3 in a first elution liquid storage vessel 7 to the first collecting member 3, a second collecting member 5 for collecting the objectives from the first elution liquid in which the salts are dissolved by ion adsorption, and a second elution means for supplying second elution liquid for eluting the objectives adsorbed on the second collecting member 5 from the second collecting member 5 in a second elution liquid storage vessel 11 to the second collecting member 5.</p> |
