<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To activate the propagation of bacteria by making polyvinyl chloride a fine belt-shaped filter material, to achieve a function as a filter material in water purification, and to solve a problem as waste also. SOLUTION: First, polyvinyl chloride and a plastic is cut into a fine belt shape. The cut articles must be very thin and have a large surface area of pleats. By making the surface area maximum, refuse and dirt in water are adsorbed. As a result, the propagation of bacteria on the cut article is activated, a function as a filter material in water purification can be achieved. Since polyvinyl chloride and the plastic are scarcely modified and changed in water, they do not deteriorate water quality. Moreover, even when the filtration capacity is lowered, the capacity can be restored only by cleaning a filter material main body. After that, even when a function as a filter material is lost, due to a fine cut article, treatment as waste is easy.</p> |
