<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with an inlet port, and prevent the turning and the falling- out of a stopper pin in a center valve type master cylinder. SOLUTION: A secondary piston is fitting mounted in a cylinder main body 2 so as to partition a pressuring chamber 2b and a supply room 2d. A stopper pin 27 is inserted into a pin hole 18 from the inside of a reservoir port 14 so as to regulate the original position of the secondary piston 6. By the abutting and the parting of an opening and closing body 21, a center valve 17 is opened and closed so as to cause the pressuring chamber 2b and the supply room 2d to communicate with each other and to be shut off mutually to compensate the change of brake fluid capacity and brake fluid volume. By causing the reservoir port 14 and the supply room 2d to communicate with each other via the inside and the slit 27a of the cylindrical stopper pin 27, an inlet port communicating with the same can be dispensed with. An engage portion 27b is provided on the stopper pin 27 so as to abut onto the inner peripheral face of the reservoir port 14 and the tip portion of a connection nozzle 23 to prevent the turning and the falling-out of the stopper pin 27.</p> |
