PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machining method by crankshaft mirror and machining cutter device which make high precision machining possible by sufficiently reducing the inside diameter of the cutter to minimize the effect of edge- deflection, geometric errors, etc. SOLUTION: The machining cutter device is made up of an adaptor 13 which is mounted to a cutter drum 11 so that it can be loaded and unloaded, and which has a larger opening 13b than the inside diameter of a chuck 4 or the maximum deflection of a work 3, and a cutter body 12 which is removably mounted to about the center part of the adaptor 13, and on the inside peripheral surface 12a slightly larger than the outside diameters of pins 3b and journals 3c of a work to be machined, of which at least one cutting edge 17 is provided. Even when the inside diameter of the cutter body 12 is smaller than the outer periphery of the chuck 4, the cutter body 12 does not interfere with the chuck 4, and the machining accuracy can be improved by reducing the inside diameter of the cutter body 12. |
