PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition capable of expressing excellent bright feelings by suppressing reduction of appearance caused by abnormal orientations of a scale brightener, and resin-molded articles. SOLUTION: This resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin and a blended and kneaded scale brightener having an average particle size written below and a ratio written below. (1) 1-8 pts.wt., in case of using a scale brightening agent having 10-20μm average particle size, while (2) the amount to be added satisfies the relation formula S<=5A+15 [S is an average particle size (μm), A is the amount to be added] in case of using a scale brightener having 20-50μm average particle size.
