PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the easy formation of a uniform plating layer by an eletroplating treatment at a time by forming metallized layers in the peripheral part and the central part of surfaces of a ceramic part body and reducing the surface roughness of the metallized layer in the central part from that of the metallized layer in the peripheral part. SOLUTION: This metallized ceramic part is obtained by coating a terminal- shaped part and a ring-shaped part of a ceramic part body 10 having the protruded terminal-shaped part formed in the central part on the top surface and the protruded ring-shaped part formed in the peripheral part on the undersurface with a metallizing paste, drying the coated paste at 100 deg.C in air, curing the paste, carrying out the smoothing treatment of the surface of the paste layer in the terminal-shaped part, then heat-treating the part body 10 at 1,420 deg.C in a wet forming gas for 1 hr, forming metallized layers 11 and 12, polishing the surface of the metallized layer 11 in the terminal-shaped part, regulating the surface roughness of the metallized layer 11 in the terminal-shaped part to <=90% of that of the metallized layer 12 in the ring-shaped part on the undersurface and smoothing the surface so as to provide 3.0-5.0μm based on the ten-point average roughness [ten-point height (R2 )].
