PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the conveying efficiency by making it possible to carry out a line of articles carried in and arranged in an aligned condition, without disturbing the carrying-in of the following articles. SOLUTION: To a guide 15 to partition a carrying-in conveyer 5 into three lines in the width direction, plastic bottles B are carried in as one line part (20 bottles, for example) in the order (the first line→the second line→the third line→the second line→the first line...). When the plastic bottle line of the first and the second lines are completed, the carrying-out by a grasping unit 58 is carried out. To this carrying-out time, the carrying-in of the plastic bottles B to the third line is followed. When the plastic bottle line to the third and the second lines are completed, the carrying-out by the grasping unit 58 is followed. To this carrying-out time, the carrying-in of the plastic bottles B is followed.
