PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent performance of a generator from being deteriorated caused by hot air from an engine side. SOLUTION: In a hybrid electric automobile provided with an engine 2, a generator 3 to be driven by the engine 2, a battery 4, and electric motors 5, 6 to be driven through inverters 7 by taking the generator 3 and the battery 4 as power sources and for making a vehicle travel, a heat insulating plate 15 is arranged between the engine 2 and the generator 3 so that hot air around the engine may be prevented from being allowed to flow to the periphery of the generator 3, and an engine chamber 16 and a generator chamber 17 are sectioned from each other. |
