PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffee maker to enable an extracted capsule to be taken out easily. SOLUTION: A coffee maker is comprised with a generally cylindrical capsule housing 1 including a ring edge section 8 disposed on a lower section thereof that has an inner shape 5 corresponding with an outer shape of a cap 9 of a capsule for extracting, a member 6 disposed on an upper section of the inner shape 5 for pouring water to the capsule along an axis of a cylinder, a means 2 for linking an outlet of water from a machine, and a capsule holder assembly 13 that forms a cylindrical casing 14 and includes capsule extraction plate 15 at a bottom thereof. The capsule holder assembly 13 is retained under the housing in a manner that the ring edge section of the housing interacts with a peripheral section 21 of the extraction plate when extracting. The assembly 13 has at least one retaining means 19 for retaining a lip 12 of the capsule by accessing a lower section of the assembly to the extraction plate at side surfaces. |
