<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely superior efficiency and working accuracy by using a stock cutting program for an input to a geometry modeling program and automatically generating the geometry for the initial article to be machined. SOLUTION: An NC program which subtracts the expanded volume of a tool from a geometry of a present machined article and three-dimensionally and continuously modeling the geometry of an article under being machined is used as an input The geometry of an initial article to be machined is generated by using a stock cutting program as the input The removal rate of materials, mean cutting force, and deflection of the cutting tool are calculated for every movement of tools. The feed rate of a tool at every movement is selected based on the modeling and the calculation so that the productivity is optimized without infringing the restraint of a user set including the cutting force and the deflection of the tool.</p> |
