<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet flue gas desulfurizing method in which while high absorption performance and oxidation performance are maintained, the capacity of a gas heat exchanger attached to the desulfurizer can be made low. SOLUTION: In this wet flue gas desulfurizing method, as for absorbing liquid, containing 10 wt.% soluble salt is used, a pool in a circulating tank 7 for storing the absorbing liquid 6 that has absorbed SOx in waste gas in an absorber 1 is divided into plural residence parts by partition plates 10 and also divided so that the absorbing liquid 6 in the adjacent residence parts can flow each other. The absorbing liquid that has absorbed sulfur oxides in waste gas moves from the residence part near a waste gas inlet of the absorber 1 to that near a waste gas outlet thereof, and calcium carbonate C and calcium hydroxide D are added to the residence part near the waste gas inlet of the absorber 1 and that near the waste gas outlet thereof as a desulfurizing agent respectively so that the absorbing liquid 5 in each residence part has higher pH as it goes from the residence part near the waste gas inlet of the absorber 1 to the residence part near the waste gas outlet thereof.</p> |
