PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain rubber chips having a great number of continuous voids easily and inexpensively without using a foaming agent by a method in which a kneaded mixture of chips obtained by crushing a vulcanized rubber mixture such as a waste tire and a thermosetting resin, after being compression molded and solidified, is crushed again into chips, kneaded again with a thermosetting resin, and compression-molded. SOLUTION: A series of processes including crushing, kneading, compression molding, and solidification is repeated at least twice to obtain a rubber compressed material having uniform, continuous voids easily. By repeating the processes, the void diameters are made smaller and more uniform and the void ratio is increased. If data such as the diameters of crushed chips and a mixing ratio with a thermosetting resin are established, costs can be reduced by a simple method in which a series of processes is repeated. In this way, a rubber chip compressed material having a desired void ratio and void diameter corresponding to applications.
|
