<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which enables an operator to see a hardness variable part easily and to insert it smoothly with ease. SOLUTION: Bendable soft tube 32 which forms soft insertion part 13 has hardness variable part 33, coil 34 and wire 35 inside. The wire 35 is put into the coil 34. Pressure is given to the coil 34 by pulling the wire 35 and it enables the hardness variable part 33 to insert. Indicator 49 which indicates the tip of the hardness variable part is provided with the outer surface of the bendable soft tube 32. This indicator allows an operator to check the point to vary the hardness so that he/she can insert the insertion part suitably.</p> |
