PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console box which can reliably prevent a thing from slipping down inside along its surface through a clearance at door opening time. SOLUTION: A door 10 to close an upper surface of a box main body of a console box can rotate in a position running along a door base end side rear wall of the box main body at opening time. A driving lever 34 where a driving pin 34a is protrusively arranged sideways in a tip part is arranged downward in a rear end part of the door 10, and a closing plate 30 which comes into contact in the crossing direction from the back with a surface of the opened door 10 and in which a grooved lever 36 having a long groove 35 to lock/insert the driving pin 34a is arranged downward, is slidingly supported on the outside of a rear wall of the box main body. The long groove 35 is formed in the shape of bringing a tip part of the closing plate 30 into contact with the surface of the door 10 by driven motion of the grooved lever 36 to the driving pin 34a in an opening process of the door 10. |
