PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a surface of curve mirror from becoming fogy due to dew formation for a long term by using a resin solution comprising an acrylic- modified alkyd resin, a butylalcohol, a methanol, a vinylchloride resin and water in each respective specific ratio. SOLUTION: A resin solution having a nonvolatile content of 40±1 vol.% comprises 5-15 vol.% of an acrylic-modified alkyd resin, 5-15 vol.% of a butylalcohol, 5-15 vol.% of a methanol, 5-15 vol.% of a vinylchloride resin and 40-80 vol.% of water with a volume ratio of acrylic-modified alkyd resin/ butylalcohol/methanol/vinyl chloride resin adjusted at 1/1/1/1. This resin solution is coated on the surface of the curve mirror by means of spray coating, curtain coating, etc., to give a thickness of 0.1-0.3 mm. The alkyd resin is obtained by making a polybasic acid such as a phthalic acid anhydride, a maleic acid anhydride, etc., with a polyvalent alcohol such as an ethylene glycol, a glycerin, etc., and adding a higher fatty acid such as a linseed oil, etc., to the reaction system.
