PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely adjust an equipment by simple mechanism in accordance with the leg length of each flange even when it is different by forming sleeves for end-faces to be movable in the axial direction of a roll to each flange and respectively connecting each sleeve for end faces to a corresponding driving device. SOLUTION: An edging roll 2A has two outside sleeves 3A, 4A for end faces and two inside sleeves 5A, 6A for end faces which are symmetrically arranged. The sleeves 3A, 4A for end faces have tapered outer peripheral surfaces which are brought into contact with the end faces of the flanges H1 of a shape are respectively independently movable on a roll shaft 1A in the axial direction and set in arbitrary positions. The sleeves 5A, 6A for side faces are made into a shape which is brought into contact with the inside surfaces of a flange H1 of the shape and parts near to the flanges of the web H2. Such sleeves for end faces are moved with respective driving devices and their moving amounts depend on the demand from the controllers. |
