PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form the ink film of uniform thickness on the printing surface of a plate cylinder. SOLUTION: A smoothing roller 2 is abutted against a plate cylinder 10 at the rear side of an inking roller with respect to the rotating direction of the plate cylinder 10 or the same is abutted against the inking roller 1 itself. The smoothing roller 2 is used for smoothing an ink film, formed on the plate cylinder 10 or the inking roller 1. The circumferential surface of the smoothing roller 2 is provided with ink repelling effect. The ink repelling effect can be obtained by supplying ink repelling substances, such as separating agent or wetting agent, on the circumferential surface of the smoothing roller 2 or the smoothing roller 2 is provided with the circumferential surface, consisting of an ink repelling material. The ink repelling effect can be provided by combining these two means mutually. |
