PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an Fe-Ni-Cr-Ti soft magnetic alloy for magnetic circuit for high sensitivity relay, having >=0.9 T saturation magnetic induction Bs, <=10 A/m coercive force, >=60 μΩ.cm electric resistance (ρ), and >=200 HV hardness. SOLUTION: This alloy has a chemical composition which consists of, by weight, 40-65% of (Ni+Co), 0-7% Co, 2-5% Cr, 1-3% Ti, 0-0.5% Al, 0-2% of (Mn+Si), and the balance iron with inevitable impurities and further contains, if necessary, <=3% Mo, <=2% W, <=2% V, <=1.5% Nb, <=1% Ta, and <=3% Cu and in which the total content of Cr, Mo, W, V, Nb, Ta, and Cu and the total content of Mo, W, V, Nb, Ta, and Cu are regulated to <=7% and <=4%, respectively, and the following relational inequalities are satisfied: Cr<5-0.015×(Ni+Co-52.5)<2> , in the case of Ni+Co<=52.5; Cr<5-0.040×(Ni+ Co-52.5)<2> , in the case of Ni+Co>=52.5. |
