PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to prohibit the occurrence of dew condensation within double layer glass by easily balancing the internal pressure of the double layer glass with the external atm. pressure at the mounting site of the double layer glass. SOLUTION: The double layer glass is provided with a capillary 9 through which the air layer 7 in the double layer glass and the outdoor air communicate with each other but which has a small bore and a long length to the extent of allowing the flow between the internal air and the outdoor air by the change between the internal and external atm. pressures and of preventing the infiltration of the moisture from the outside into the double layer glass by resistance in the tube in such a manner that the capillary penetrates a spacer 4, projects to the end face of the double layer glass and extends to the required length along the end face of the double layer glass by bending from the projecting part. The capillary 9 is mounted in the state of keeping the outside end 12 thereof normally opened without sealing this outside end 12 of the capillary 9 at the mounting site. |
