<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible machining device which has little increase in occupying area and decrease in machining efficiency even if the number of work types is increased. SOLUTION: This flexible machining device includes a plurality of conveyance carriages 3 which loads a universal pallet 2 for retaining a work, a pallet station 6 which changes automatically a jig plate 21 for fixing the work to the universal pallet 2 according to the type of the work, a carrying-in station 4 for fitting the work to the universal pallet 2, a numerically controlled machine tool (machining station) 1, a carrying-out station 5 for carrying out the work, and a moving route 7 for the conveyance carriage 3 running between respective stations 6, 4, 1, 5. Even if the type of the work is changed, it requires only change of the light-weight and small jig plate 21 without requiring change of the heavy- weight and large pallet, therefore, thus it is possible to prevent machining efficiency from lowering so much. Storing the jig plate 21 requires less area than storing the pallet, thus it is possible to prevent an occupying area from increasing so much.</p> |
