<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to accelerate the fermentation of organic wastes in a fermentation device and to most adequately control agitating and mixing speeds, respectively, according to the fermentation states of the organic wastes in respective stages or respective rows when the fermentation device consists of multiple stages or multiple rows. SOLUTION: The organic wastes 28 are compressed by the belt conveyor 6 and press rollers 7 of a dehydration device 2 and ultrasonic vibrations is imparted on the press rollers 7 by an ultrasonic wave generator 8, by which the water content in the organic wastes 28 is splashed. The splashed water content is absorbed and dissipated by the dry air generated in a dry air generator. Fermentation bacteria are mixed by a mixer 4 into the organic wastes 28 dehydrated and dried by the dehydrating device 2, the ultrasonic wave generator 8 and the dry air generator and adjusted to a prescribed moisture content. The mixture composed of the organic wastes 28 and the fermentation bacteria is agitated and mixed by a fermentation device 5, by which the organic wastes are fermented.</p> |
