PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably produce a product excellent in quality in view of plane and application properties by a method in which in a drying transportation process after peeling from a support to winding, a curl part generated in an end part is cut and transported. SOLUTION: Cellulose triacetate is dissolved in a good solvent, e.g. methylene chloride to make a kind of dope. The dope is sent quantitatively to a die by a pressure gear pump and others and cast on a support 3, and a web 1, after being transferred around the support 3, is peeled off at a peeling point 4. A cellulose acetate film is made by drying while being transferred by a tender 8 or the clip of a roll group 6. Both ends of the peeled web 1 tend to be curled during drying due to the difference in the degrees of dryness between the surface and the back. When the web 1 is introduced to the tenter 8 or the roll 6 in this state, it is broken easily. Therefore, the web 1 is introduced to the tenter 8 immediately after its curled parts being removed by a slitter 9 with both ends cut off to improve productivity and quality. |
