PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and efficiently execute thermal spraying repair excellent in resistance for a long time at the time of executing thermal spraying repair to a steel making furnace by a flame thermal spraying system using refractory powder including metal powder. SOLUTION: A thermal spraying repairing material obtd. by blending the ones obtd. by kneading metal powder for combustion composed of Mg powder, Ca-Si powder or the mixed powder thereof and contained by 10 to 20 wt.% and fire resistant powder having a volume equivalent to the metal powder for combusion and also contg. oxide powder of 10 to 100μm particle size which does not contain single SiO2 (such as zirconia) and executing granulation into pseudo particles of 100μm to 1.5 mm particle size is jetted toward the part requiring repair in a steel making furnace.
