PURPOSE:To allow printing of a photograph contg. characters with excellent image sharpness and tone reproducibility by using a reflecting base which contains white pigment particles at >=10wt.% density in a water resistant resin and is specified in the degree of dispersion of the white pigment particles in the water resistant resin surface layer. CONSTITUTION:The color photosensitive material formed by using the reflecting base which contains the white pigment particles at >=10wt.% density in the water resistant resin existing on the side provided with photosensitive layers and with which the degree of dispersion of the white pigment particles in the water resistant resin surface layer is <=0.20 as the fluctuation coefft. s/R' of the projected occupying area (%) per regulated unit area (where R' denotes the average projected occupying area per unit area; s denotes the standard deviation of the projected occupying area per unit area) is subjected to image exposing by a scanning exposing system. The print having the line drawings and character images which are excellent in image quality and high in edge contrast is obtd. easily and rapidly at a low production cost in this way by using the color photosensitive material provided with at least 3 layers of the silver halide photosensitive layers contg. respectively different color couplers. |
