The invention concerns a case to hold a disc-shaped object,for instance a CD disc or similar. The case comprises a boss 5 projecting from the flat base area of the case to allow the hole rim to accommodate the first disc-shaped object 14 in a detachable clamp contact with the boss, a hinged lid connected to the base for closing the case, and a boss 7 projecting from the lid's flat area to allow the hole rim to accommodate the second disc- shaped object 15 in detachable clamp contact with the boss. According to the invention, when the case is closed the locking tongues in the bosses 5, 7 of the base and lid are designed to mesh into each other so that the knobs 10, 11 of the locking tongues lie essentially in the same plane. <IMAGE>
