A thermal probe in the concrete is used whose signals are sent via a radio frequency transmitter/receiver system to a remote computing unit. The system includes: a thermal probe (2) designed to be inserted in the concrete; a memory unit, for recording the data from the probe (2); at least a transmission unit for sensing the data from the probe (2) to the memory, and; a central computer (4), which determines from the memorized data the provisional date for removal of shuttering. The transmission system is a radio-electric device (6, 8, 10) inserted between the probe (2,18) and the computer (4). The device also includes: a data collector (14) which is connected to the probe (2) by cables. The collector (14) includes: means for converting the analogue data from the probe (2) into digital data; a radio frequency transmitter (6) for transmission of the digital data; a receiver (10) for receiving the transmitted signals. The receiver is located at the computer (4).
