Injection machine for filling edge joints of glazing units with sealant

Sealing material components are pumped into intermediate storage vessels (5, 8) from which metering pumps (14, 19) supply the components to a mixer (16) and outlet nozzle (17) forming parts of a combined moving unit. A servomotor driven gear pump (14) meters the main component and a piston pump with a piston (20) driven by a second servomotor meters the secondary component. Both metering pumps, mixer and injection nozzle form a moveable combined unit. Used for applying sealant around the edge joints between insulating glass panes.
