Synchronous electrical machine with compound rotor, consisting of a stator that includes a magnetic stator circuit and at least one electrical stator circuit and a compound rotor 1 that includes a magnetic rotor circuit 10 fitted with pole pieces 11, 12 and nonmagnetic parts 71, 72 placed between these pole pieces 11, 12. The compound rotor 1 is made as a single part with a high- mechanical-strength, compound, nonmagnetic material. This single part includes a mainly cylindrical central part 7 that incorporates the magnetic rotor circuit 10 and two shafts located at the two axial ends of the central part 7, respectively.
