<p>A superconductor article (110) is described which comprises a substrate (112), a first epitaxial buffer layer (114) supported by the substrate and a second layer (116) disposed on the surface of the first layer. The second layer is formed of superconductor or a precursor of a superconductor. The surface of the first layer can have a low pore density and/or inclusions with a small average particle size diameter.</p> |
