<p>The invention concerns a method for producing a display panel comprising at least a glass faceplate (2, 3). The method consists in a glass tempering step in a bath containing at least an alkaline metal molten salt, at a temperature of about 450 °C for more than one hour. The faceplate is then subjected to a thermal treatment during a step wherein are deposited at least an element such as an electrode (X1, Y1), a dielectric layer (6), a spacer (12), barrier (11), the tempering in the bath being carried out to stabilise its dimensions during the thermal treatment. The invention is particularly applicable to plasma panels.</p> |
