Process to dry sewage sludge surrenders heated wet sludge to rotating

In a process to de-water moist substances esp. sewage sludge containing pref. 80 to 50 % by weight water, the sludge is first is placed in a reactor esp. rotating helical conveyer in which it is heated to at least 50 deg C, pref. 75 to 100 deg C. The heated sludge is then transferred to a mill in which it is ground in the presence of force-fed incoming ambient air. The reactor uses pref. 1000 to 50003 m of air per ton of sludge. Alternatively, the reactor is a micro-fluidising mill.
