Pipe clamp for manipulating double pipe strings

The unit casing includes three adjacent, detachably connected sections (21,22,23), of which the outer ones (21,22) are casing halves of conventional clamps for individual string pipes. Each has in addition, a mounting hole (40,41) for a cylinder operating the clamping wedges. The central casing (23) is a supplementary section. This includes complementary part-openings (33,34) forming mirror reflections about the casing central plane (32). They form lead-throughs for the double pipe string and mount the clamping or supporting wedges.
