Assembly line conveyer belt

A conveyer belt (1) has a number of turntable (5) stations (3) situated at a fixed points. The turntable (5) is rotated by a drive unit with a drive axle (6) under the belt. The sub-belt e.g. chain drive unit has a drive pinion (7) which projects through the belt and allows the turntable to rotate at least partially while the belt is still in motion.
