METHOD AND BASE STATION SYSTEM FOR VOICE TRANSMISSION VIA A RADIO INTERFACE IN A DIGITAL RADIOTELEPHONE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The invention relates to a method and a base station system for voice transmission via a radio interface in a digital radiotelephone communication system. According to the inventive method, at least a signal is transmitted via a radio interface between a base station of the base station system and a radiotelephone station. At least one characteristic value regarding the conditions of transmission of the radio interface is determined on the basis of said signal. Said characteristic value is then stored in at least one storage device and taken into account along with the actual characteristic value determined for sender-side voice and channel coding at a later moment.
