<p>An air conditioner wherein an indoor unit (1) is provided with a filter holding frame (5) disposed adjacent to the front surface of an indoor heat exchanger (11a), a filter case (7) fitted detachably to the front surface side of the filter holding frame (5), and a handle (34) having the inside thereof serving as an opening (34a) penetrating towards the heat exchanger (11a) side and fitted to the lower part of the filter case (7). The filter holding frame (5) is equipped with a partition wall (50) sandwiched between the handle (34) of the filter case (7) and the heat exchanger (11a) when the filter case (7) is fitted. The partition (50) of the filter holding frame (5) permits the handle (34) to be easily gripped while preventing fingertips from contacting the indoor heat exchanger (11a) when the filter case (7) is attached or detached.</p> |
