The feed has two conveyors in the form of a transport chute (7) and a conveyor (10). The chute (7) has a feed plane (8) extending across the transport direction further than the conveyor. The conveyor is connected to the chute by a duct (9) in the transport plane (8). The chute has a pivoting flap (13) to close it.
