<p>Bottle tray (1), comprising a number of cavities (8) each with a bottom (9), a side wall (10), a central projection which is formed by a flange (15) which protrudes upwards from the bottom (9) and, together with the wall (10), defines a circumferential recess (16), and a chamber (20) which is situated at a lower level and has a top wall (22) and an underside which is open centrally. The dimensions of the wall (10) and the flange (15) are such that a bottom base section or barrel (32) of a bottle (30) is accommodated tightly between the wall (10) and a bottom stand section of the barrel (32) is accommodated tightly in the annular recess (16). The chamber (20) is suitable for accommodating a cap (38) of a bottle (30) which is situated at a lower level without the tray (1) coming into contact with a shell (31) of the bottle (30).</p> |
