In order to suppress disturbing feedback from a converter on a voltage source connected to the inputs of the input circuit, the voltage flowing into the converter is monitored and a high voltage current is diverted via a sink or a weak current component in the converter is supplemented by a source in order to actively compensate a negative differential input resistance of a converter.
