An electronic release device for electricity (power) supply and distribution, including a control device matched to the currents expected and its response to various operating conditions. The control device (SE) contains a non-volatile storage module (SB), which is equipped with a number of parameter sets (PS) corresponding to the number of different operating conditions. The parameter sets (PS) are function-dependently controllable by the control device (SE), the latter being specifically a micro-processor device (MP) controllable by the operating condition.
