Production of tin alloy granulate used in propellants and fuels

A tin alloy granulate is used as igniter in propellants and fuels. Production of a granulate comprises melting the granulate in a tin alloy having a solution-activating alloying component and quenching in a medium preventing the oxidation of the granulate so that a particle size of up to 3 mm diameter and a large surface area are produced. Used as igniter in propellants and fuels.
