The cylinder head making process involves making a fixing projection (15) of a fuel injection jet or ignition plug in one piece with the cylinder head (11). The mold core used for casing to produce the inlet or outlet aperture is cut at one end to produce a flat surface. After casting the flat surface is cut to produce a curved surface at one end of the mold core for the aperture.
